Toronto French Montessori School (TFMS) is proudly entering a new era of growth and innovation under the leadership of Mme Rhoda Mousa Molinaro and Mr. Christophe Mousa. With a strong vision for the future of multilingual Montessori education, they are building on over two decades of excellence to shape a dynamic, inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of today’s learners.
Mme Rhoda, Principal of TFMS, holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and a MACTE-accredited Montessori Diploma. Her academic background and deep understanding of child development inform a progressive, student-centered approach to leadership. Mr, Christophe, as Director, combines a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), bringing a unique blend of pedagogical insight and scientific perspective to the school’s strategic curriculum direction.
TFMS is re-imagining what a Montessori education can offer in the 21st century fostering creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking while being immersed in a multi-lingual setting. This forward-looking approach ensures that TFMS remains not only rooted in core Montessori principles, but also responsive to the evolving educational landscape and the needs of modern families.
TFMS was founded in 2000 by their mother, the late Mme Marie Mousa, a passionate educator and pioneer in bilingual Montessori education. What began as a labour of love and a vision for nurturing the whole child, Mme Marie’s legacy remains an important part of the school’s foundation, inspiring the continued commitment to academic excellence, care, and community.
Today, TFMS serves children from 18 months to Grade 8 across its Willowdale and Stouffville campuses. With French, English and Spanish integrated throughout our programs, students are immersed in a dynamic environment that promotes independence, respect, and a lifelong love of learning.
